Postal forms from Martins, Next Door, China Rose, Cossors Shop, Coopers Arms & Royal Oak.
All entry forms need to get to us before 4pm Saturday 17th September. Please help us by entering as early as you can so that we can process all your details before the event.
A quick way to enter is to use our Online Entry Form. This will save us a lot of admin as it will automatically send us your information. You can still do it the old fashioned way by posting your entry to us. If you do choose the postal way (shame on you) please make sure you post it a good few days before 17th September. This is to allow for delays in the post.
New Class
We have a brand new Float class this year. After a lot of feedback the Marketing and Development group thought it would be nice to have a class dedicated to those who have either never entered Pewsey Carnival or those who are moving from walking to motorised class. This class is the Community and Beginners class and will be known as Class 5.
Insurance
Pewsey Carnival's insurance team have been researching and have worked wonders this year. We have saved money on the overall insurance for the procession and events running up to. So this has put us in a very good position to enable Pewsey Carnival to pay for the public liability insurance to the value of £5 million for classes 1,3,4 & 5. This protects your entry against injury to persons and damage to property ONLY. However, it will NOT cover you in the event of damage, loss or theft to any equipment on your float, e.g lights, sound equipment and generators. We are afraid that we will NOT be insuring the individual walkers who make up Class 2 as in previous years, you will enter at your OWN risk. Just send us your entry and we will sort out the rest!
You must still provide an insurance cover note for each vehicle used in the procession. Not sure what to do. Send off our template here and they should do the rest. Remember to bring these with you on the 17th September as they will be checked by our safety group.
