Children’s Carnival
IT IS HAPPENING AGAIN!
- Children’s Carnival Attrations
Step Right This Way …
A few of the parents of Pewsey’s older children thought that it would be good to have a few more events for the under 18s during Pewsey Carnival fortnight.
They have built on the success of old favourites like the Duck Race (Sun 12th Sept, Scotchells 2.00 pm) and, for starters, have reintroduced the Three-legged race (see poster below for details). The hope is that one or two new “classic” events will arise to keep things rolling.
Hopes are already high that the day will include a display of Skateboarding, a Battle of the Bands, an “Its a Knockout”/”Krypton Factor” style assault course, climbing wall, rugby and football tournaments … there are so many possibilities and that is where YOU come in … if you have a special skill or idea to offer to help get Carnival’s future up and running then the organisers would very much appreciate you getting in touch by emailing them here.

is the battle of the bands at the shak and is the shak organising it?
Hello Karen, have forwarded your query to children [at] pewsey-carnival [dot] org [dot] uk … Admin
Children’s Carnival was great, a big step-up from previous years. Thanks to everyone involved. A few pics from the children’s fancy dress parade (some taken by my son, Ben):
