Role of Directors & Members

All adults in the Pewsey District are eligible to apply to the Directors to become a Member.

As the owners of the Company the Members have two key responsibilities;

1. To define what Carnival looks like.
2. To appoint Directors to manage the company.

They will hold meetings start at 7.30, are open to the public and for 2017/18.

Although everyone is welcome to speak at the meetings and share their views, only Members can vote.

Directors have two key responsibilities:

1. To organise the running of the Carnival Company to ensure it operates:

a) legally
b) from a financially sound position
c) in compliance with Health and Safety requirements

2. organise the delivery of a successful Carnival each year.

Directors will hold meetings that are closed to the public but open to Members. However, anyone is welcome to contact the Directors with questions via the form on the Contact Us page; or by dropping a note into the post box situated outside the Old Fire Engine House in North Street, or Cossors Shop.
