For those in the locality full details of all events will be found in the excellent Carnival Programme – still the best value you can get on the streets.
- Street Events – official Road Closure notices are served from 6.00pm to 11.00pm on the notified dates for these events:
- Main Procession – Sat 18 Sept 2010, starts 7.30pm Carnival Field
- Wheelbeero Race – Thurs 16th Sep 2010. Registration from 5pm onwards Bouverie Hall
- Wine Race – Thurs 9th Sep 2010. Registration from 6pm onwards Bouverie Hall
- Car Boot Sale – Sun 12 Sept 2010, 8.30 am – 1.00pm, Carnival Field TBC
- Other Outdoor Events
- Indoor Events
- Children’s Events
The following more or less regular events are not scheduled to take place this year:
- Outdoor Events – Plant Sale, Family Fun Day, Mobility Buggy Treasure Hunt.
- Indoor Events – BYO Supper Dance (Zixex), Comedy Night (Hasbeens), Craft Fayre, Darts (2005 – Eric “Crafty Cockney” Bristow at Moonrakers, 2004 – Phil “The Power” Taylor in Bouverie Hall), Irish Evening, Open Mic, Pub Games Night, Rock Night (Hasbeens).
- Children’s Events - Art Competition, Window Spotting Comp.
