Well done Cossor’s 2014 Auction

This enormous team of dedicated volunteers lead this year by Chris Giddings, worked through Monday and Tuesday (15th and 16th Sept) collecting goods and then the whole of Wednesday until gone midnight, setting up the auction and selling the donated items.

The result this year was:   £3,806 to Carnival funds

A huge: “Well done!” to all who helped. Volunteers included:

Tina, Jill, Liz, Val, Jeeves, the two Robs, Richard, Yellowhammer, Pete P, Christian, Wayne, Cuddles, Alfie, Malcolm, the two Marks, Robin

Brenda, Jackie, Di, Jill and Elliott also managed the Bric a brac and Olive (wife of Cossor) and her crew who ran the jumble.

On the sale night there were even more helpers including Pete B, Gary Perriman and a “host of very helpful ladies”.

Thanks also goes to Steve Goddard for his selling ability and for loaning his PA at the last minute (a life saver!)… and obviously to Chris L and all the auctioneers.

Carol Parson daughter of “Cossor” gave a vote of thanks to all who attended – he would have been very proud. You can read about Cossor using this link

Phew, now that’s what you call a team effort!

Apologies if anyone has been missed from the list. Please please let Bernie know your name using chairman@pewsey-carnival.org.uk
